Our Pugs
Life is good for an Ugly Mugs pug…
Our breeding dogs live in a comfortable, temperature controlled building complete with a play room and a group outdoor play yard. Each individual pug run is large enough for two or three pug friends to live together. Pugs are far too sociable to be kept in solitary confinement! Playful pugs need lots of toys, which we sanitize and rotate through the pens for variety. Everyone has plenty of rawhide chews. Keeping dogs happy and occupied is an important part of being a responsible breeder.
Ugly Mugs girls are never bred every cycle, and we retire them by age five. Retired pugs are spayed or neutered and placed in carefully screened pet homes. You can learn more about the indulged life of an Ugly Mugs pug when you read about us.

Tank
Born right here on the farm, Tank is producing strong, beautiful, healthy puppies!
Tank is everything we strive for in our breeding program. He has massive, solid bone, straight legs, and big strong feet. He can run and play until we are all exhausted from trying to
keep up with him and he still isn't out of breath. Tank has a level topline, a double-curl tail,
a velvety double coat, and just look at those wrinkles! We call him our mini-mastiff.
Even though he has finally grown up, Tank still thinks he's a great big puppy.
He loves to act silly to get attention, and cries like a baby puppy when he gets excited
about a car ride.
Tank's offspring have proven to have his strength and vigor. We are very proud of our boy!

Caleb
Tank's son - just look at that head! Caleb is much like his father in his massive bone and deep wrinkles, and
is just as silly a dog. We keep telling him it's not macho to whine and cry like a baby puppy, but that's just what
he does if he's not getting enough attention. He'll be adding to the next generation of Ugly Mugs Pugs in early 2011.

Gloria
Daughter of two of our favorite pugs ever, Frank and Bessy, Gloria is everything we hoped for.
She's a very pretty pug by AKC standards with her straight topline, double curl tail, broad face
and deep wrinkles, but our motto is inner beauty - which Gloria has in abundance. Our Gloria can
always find the joy in anything she does. She is mischevious, bold, brave and incorrigible.
We hope all of her future puppies are just as naughty (and just as much fun) as she is!
Gloria presented us with a litter of four gorgeous babies on August 29th.

Cupcake
Lovely Miss Cupcake comes from AKC champion bloodlines, but no sacrifices have been made of her
health and strength. She's able to keep on on long hikes on her big feet. Her next breeding will be to Romeo,
with hopes of show potential babies.
